Well, we've taken the best training and
techniques from all aspects of martial arts, physical fitness, and
scholastic programs and developed them into our Little Warrior program.
Our program is a theme based curriculum that is designed to
hold the child's attention while motivating them to excel and learn new
skills. We have incorporated three virtues in our program that are
represented by cartoon style characters of the wolf, bear and eagle. The
eagle represents total focus, the wolf represents extreme listening
and the bear represents courage and strength. These are all tied into a
simple rewards system that keeps kids coming back for more, while,
giving them the desire to work hard and succeed in class. We have
received such accolades from parents that Kyoshi decided to release this
program to select martial arts school around the world in a variety of
martial art styles and it has yielded similar results. Since its
inception we have added on a Home Edition reward system which ties the
child’s activities at home to a similar reward system which allows
parents to monitor their child’s progress while rewarding the child at
their martial arts school.
At a young age there is a lack of activities that teach
skills that are beneficial to a child's future. Our program is designed
to help each and every child develop in a positive manner by teaching
them skills that will help them in school, around the house, socially
and, of course, in situations where they have to stand up for
themselves.
Besides traditional training in the martial arts, we work on
each child's individual abilities and utilize our skills to bring out
the very best in them. In many conventional sports there are always some
children who do very well and others who don't. We have a slogan...
“There are no bench warmers in our school.” Every child excels in this
program, developing their confidence in the process, so that they will
be able to deal with any situation.

Martial art training has been recognized as
one of the safest and best activities in the world for teaching children
self-esteem, self-discipline, self-confidence and life skills.
Psychologists, guidance counselors and teachers recommend martial arts
for children with Autism, A.D.D., A.D.H.D and discipline issues.
Imagine your child learning all this while also staying fit, developing
balance and coordination, focus, patience, respect and fine motor

child increase in confidence, energy, and spirit. Stand and be dazzled as your child becomes unstoppable with GREATER ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, UNSHAKABLE SELF-RESPECT AND INCREASED STRENGTH AND FITNESS IN BOTH BODY AND MIND. Yes, all of this comes from learning to block, kick, and punch.
coordination with the eyes. As a result, the corpus collosum (the "nerve" that connects the left and right side of the brain) becomes more fully developed. The coordinated movements activate both hemispheres of the brain, which heightens cognitive function and increases the ease of learning.
Stress is the root cause of many of the learning problems found in people labeled hyperactive, ADD, ADHD, and emotionally handicapped. In America today, all age groups experience stress. Research at the university of Akron in Ohio has shown that martial arts may be an effective treatment to combat ADD, rather than Ritalin. Over a 10-week period, researchers studying a small group of clinically hyperactive children found that those who took martial arts lessons, for nexplained reasons, learned to control their impulsive behavior better than children of the same age who did not receive training.
